Hot for the Holidays Blog Hop

Happy holidays from the ladies of Love, Lust and Laptops! Welcome to the Hot for the Holidays Blog Hop! #HotfortheHolidays

I love the holidays. Not the shopping and the present exchange - we don't do a lot of that around Kincadia now that our children are grown. I expect this will change a little once they start producing my grandchildren. (And I can't believe I just said those words!).

Life gets so busy, and takes us all in different directions sometimes. It's important to us to stay connected to our friends and family. And you, dear reader, are a friend. Without you, I wouldn't be here - doing what I love to do. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

During this crazy, busy holiday season, remember to always be kind to one another.

From all of us in Kincadia, Happy Holidays.

  2. Baking cookies and passing them out to friends, family, co-workers, and even strangers at my parents workplace haha!
Just decorating the house in general, watching Christmas movies, being with loved ones, that's tradition enough for me!
    Thank you !!!

  4. Getting the fruit ready for Christmas cake a few weeks beforehand - the brandy and nutmeg and orange juice and spices with the raisins and peel and sultanas etc, then sealing it all up. That's how you know it's nearly Christmas.

  6. Hi, We have the cookie tradition but the best tradition I love is putting up the tree. I now have my Grandchildren putting up my tree. They all come over the day after Thanksgiving and help Grandma (me) put up her tree. As they are growing the ornaments are getting higher on the tree. I never move them once they are placed on the tree. We even share a Christmas pizza to make it more festive. Hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

  8. Decorating the tree! Its a blast! With all my family together, breaking out the ornaments, finding old ones we forgot about (and of course theres always a connecting story!), singing songs, and battling the fur babies for the rolling ornaments that get away. My great loves swooping in and snatching! lol Thank you for sharing and for the awesome hop! Im having a blast! Thank you! Happy holidays! :)
