I am looking forward to a kick ass year, how about y'all? There are three things, in particular, about 2013 that excite me. Ohhhh yes, there is naughtiness in store, my little monkeys.
Starting. Right. Now.
Have you ever felt like you've waited forever for something? You know what I mean. That nagging tug in your stomach, the ache in your heart that comes with knowing your desires will not be met, but instead, teased endlessly until you want to scream?
And I don't mean when you're naked.
2013 will bring the end of a very looooooong wait. That's right folks, on March 26, 2013 - straight up midnight - you'll find me clutching my Nook and diving into Lover at Last - book eleven in JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I don't think I've ever been so excited for two dudes to get together as I am to see Qhuinn and Blay get their ever after (note the missing "happily", there is a war going on after all). Knowing Ms. Ward, it won't come without massive amounts of fuckwittage, but I look forward to every word. That's excitement number one.
Excitement number two: 2013 is my Year of Caleb, people! You guessed it, Martin family fans, Caleb is on the road to recovery - er - completion and he's looking forward to sharing his story with all of you. Okay, that's a lie. Caleb would rather you never know about his past and he's threatened me endlessly about telling it. Good thing he doesn't scare me. Much.
Excitement number three: I've completed my second novel, Spring Training. Stay tuned for details - much more to come!
